Amy Lou Adams, full name Amy Lou Adams (born 20 August 1974, Aviano Italy), American actress. She is known for her naive roles that are engaging and relatable. Adams was born in Italy and her father was as a soldier in the U.S. military and she lived in Castle Rock Colorado as one of seven kids. She began dancing and acting professionally at the end of the 90s. She was part of Boulder Dinner Theatre, and later The Country Dinner Playhouse. Then she was in Minnesota and at a local theater, she was cast as a character in the mock documentary about beauty contests called Drop Dead Gorgeous. Following her successful screen debut with the role of an obnoxious but friendly contestant, Janet relocated from Minnesota to Los Angeles where she began an acting career professionally. Through the 1960s, Leigh appeared in a variety of films, such as Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho and Living It Up.
