Nadia Comaneci - (born on 12th November 1961 Gheorghe Gheorghiu Dej (now Onesti, Romania), Romanian gymnast. The first person in history to earn a 10. a competition at the Olympics. Bela Karrolyi is the Romanian gymnastics teacher who was later Comaneci's coach who first came across Comaneci when she was just six years old. Comaneci was the first to compete for time in the national junior championships. She finished 13th. The following year she became champion. Three gold medals were awarded in her first competition in a junior pre-Olympic meeting in 1972, which was a the communist bloc nations. The following year, 1973 as well as 1974, she was the junior champion in all-round competitions. The athlete won four golds and one silver in her debut competition as a senior which took place in the year 1975. This was her first time she had competed as an older senior. In 1976, she won the American Cup at the New York City Olympic Games and was the first female in history to dismount the parallel bars using backwards double salto. Carol Wayne.........................Carol Wayne was an American film and TV actor best recognized for portraying Art Fern's Tea-Time Movie Lady on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. Her career began as an entertainment professional during her teenage years performing as an ice skating duo along with the sibling Nina Wayne for the travelling entertainment program Ice Capades. Carol Marie Wayne was a born on 6th September 1942 in Chicago Illinois. Carol started her entertainment career during her teenage years. Her first professional gig was figure skating along with Nina Wayne, her younger sister, in the traveling entertainment show Ice Capades. Ice Capades was a show that featured skating on ice by actors.
