April Lockhart
April Lockhart is a born July 4th in 1995. As a seventh-grade student, she started taking guitar lessons and piano lessons. This ignited her passion for songwriting. When she was 12 years old, April wrote her first song Different. At the age of 14 years old, April was spending a lot of time writing lyrics and perfecting her music ability. Then she began to take trips to write with her father in NY in New York and LA. The month also saw her include different topics related to some of her friends dealing with such things as bullying by peers and teen suicide in the song"Take my Hand. Lockhart is a well-known lifestyle influencer as well as being a partner with brands that are clean and healthy like Ilia and YSL, has cultivated her own audience. It's true that she was born with no left hand. This creates her unique. It's not the only aspect that makes her unique. The account on Instagram of Lockhart doesn't deny her handicap. It also doesn't emphasize it. What message is it trying to convey? It's crucial to understand that everyone has multiple faces. Our identities are varied and we're greater than the bodies we wear. Lockhart states in the video Lockhart in a video interview "I am not convinced that my physical appearance is what defines me. It's not my intention to influence disabilities because I've got plenty to offer." And it doesn't affect my day-to-day life I do things normally, and I've discovered my own method of adjusting the things. Since it's a an integral part of me It's a topic worthy of discussion. Self-acceptance is a lifelong marathon but Lockhart is an absolute inspiration in this regard. She admits that she's been through phases with her body and sometimes feeling insecure to wear specific types of clothes showing the arms of her. She wears what she likes and proudly posts pictures of herself in the outfits she picks out on social media. She says that self-love is a journey. I'm not sure when you'll reach the point of no return. This is true for everyone, regardless of the level of insecurity. I believe having friends close to you who truly understand you and can see your heart is really important since they'll be those who will remind you what you concerned about?
