Allison Brooks Janney, an American actor from the United States. Known for her performances across the stage and on screen, she has received various distinctions, such as an Academy Award a British Academy Film Award and a Golden Globe Award and seven Primetime Emmy Awards, in addition to nominations for two Tony Awards. Allison Janney, who spent almost 20 years in theatres across the country, was popular for her portrayal of White House Press Secretary C.J. Gregg C.J. Gregg in The West Wing (1999-2006) the acclaimed and popular TV show. Allison Janney is a natural late bloomer. The permit to drive was not issued until the age of 17, one year after the majority of her classmates from Ohio. The first time she went to a night out with a partner, it was when she attended university. In spite of auditioning at the age of 23 she did not appear on stage until she reached her late 30s. Faris said she quit the show to pursue new possibilities. Now, Faris admits she didn't make an intentional decision. Janney is wearing a wig since the very beginning of the show and was unafraid. Fallon told her "'Guys I've worn a wig ever since season one, but nobody knew. Then everybody is conscious.'" Janney intends to keep the wig in her possession as a souvenir. The actress was said to earn anywhere as high as $125,000 for each episode on early seasons of the series. According to reports, at the end of the third and fourth season, Faris along with the co-star Allison Janey were earning $200,000 per episode.
