Molly Tarlov (born November 11 in 1981) is an American actress who is most famous in 2011 for her portrayal of Sadie Saxton on the television comedy-drama show Awkward. Tarlov is the youngest of two girls was raised and grew up in Manhattan, New York. When she was a ten-year-old, Tarlov played her role as Mrs. Peterson as part of a Little Red School House production of Bye Bye Birdie. This was a hugely praised performance by the audience comprised of seventh graders. She spent summers studying at NYU Tisch and Interlochen Center for the Arts. Bennington College granted her a bachelor's degree in theatre. The Atlantic Theater Company was another place she studied. She also incorporated writing in her performances in the LAByrinth Theater master course. Molly swapped her black jacket for a pair of sunglasses, before leaving for Los Angeles. Within a few days she landed a minor part on iCarly which garnered a lot of interest from her family. Since then, she's appeared in a number of TV shows and played Caitlin as the lead character in Winnie and Savannah Dooley's ABC Family series Huge. Molly is a pro basketball athlete who believes she's better than she really is. Her favourite writers include David Mamet, Henrik Ibsen and Lauren Iungerich.
