Katherine Heigl opens up to the world on her "white bubble life" and how it has had an impact on how she raises her multiracial adopted children. In an interview with her, Katherine Heigl said recent interview that, with regards to skin colour there is no difference. But after speaking to her adopted sister from South Korea she realized just the way society views them. In my interview, I asked Meg about how she was treated while out in public, either in the presence of or without parents, she said it was different. Meg replied, "Oh yeah, always!" Heigl admitted to her parents that this made her realize how foolish she was. The singer became angry, and she decided to channel her anger into help her adopted daughters. Heigl has a son of 4 years with Josh Kelley, her husband for the past 13 years. They have adopted Nancy Leigh from South Korea aged 12 in 2009, and then Adalaide whom was eight years old old and is Black as of 2012.
